That set is really a treat. The energy is just contagious and everyone is playing at 100%. Made gain a whole new respect for Sly as a bandleader/frontman.

The Turn Me Loose/I can't turn you loose medleys are inexplicably tight and loose at the same time --- so good.

I need to pull this out and finish up with the last disc or two --- I got stuck on the first few and then needed a bit of a break.

the coolest thing is that before SLy blew up
and became a household name,etc.. you sense a band on a musical mission and its something to have.

matter of fact i ain't never heard a bad album from live at the fillmore. Bill graham and them at fillmore had standards
and acts always brought the goods.

this is a strong set no doubt.
