I ALWAYS liked the Low Budget version better and didn't even know people liked the other one better until I came online.

Actually, when I copped the album in 95, the Low Budget was my clear favorite on the entire album.

I always overthink lists and then become uncomfortable that I'm forgetting something obvious lol, so strictly off the top for fun right now because it's Premo some favorites with no regard for era, popularity, or impact:

Jeru "Invazion"
Group Home "Suspended in Time"
Nas "I Gave You Power"
Jay-Z "Bring it On"
Freddie Foxxx "R.N.S."
Common "6th Sense"
Edo G. "Sayin' Somethin'"
Memph Bleek/Jay "Hand it Down/Intro"
Gang Starr "Itz a setup"
KRS "Higher Level"
MOP "Salute pt. 2"
Jaz-O "Love is Gone"
O.C. "My World"
Biggie "Rap Phenomenon"
Afu-Ra "Monotony"
Royce "Hip-Hop"
