"Oddest and or funniest censoring u done herard on hip hop songs." Tue Sep-29-15 09:25 PM by normal35762
Been meaning to post this for a while. On Pandora I heard a version of "Murder Was The Case" that was funny. Dude the were cencoring everything related to violence or drug paraphenalia! They censored out the word pencil man! "My homie Baby Blue caught a..licnep..in his neck". I lost it when I heard that shit. Anyone got that version of that song?
Another funny cencored song was back in the days was when the Wake Up Show played "Firewater". They were censoring out verses with that backwards ish.

From A Million and One Questions, on Spotify (which has about a million funny censorship jobs and is infuriating in general re: censorship), correct me if I'm wrong but I think the line is "Roc A Fella should fold..." And they blank out "should". I laugh every time.

Not slurs or anything disrespectful either. The Camron song "who's nice" off Confessions of Fire had a line where he says "Hang wit' Jews, Chillin' at they bar mitzahs" and it is completely censored.
There are a few others that slip my mind at the moment.

Songs like Drake's "Over" just missing chunks and chunks of lines from verses. And, I hate when like, the surrounding words also get cut out for no reason. "I know way too many people here right now than I did last night man, wh(o the fuck are y')all. Like, you couldn't get an engineer good enough to just cut out "fuck"?

...so nothing really surprises me anymore, I've heard some bad editing where they only blank or reverse half the curse words and then you have some where they just leave dead air/silence for almost forty seconds (on Slum Village's "Intro 2").
I like some of the Wu-Tang (first album) single where they made a cool clean version of "Wu-Tang Clan Ain't Nuthin' To Fuck Wit" with martial arts sound effects.
There is also version where you can tell the aritst re-recorded the song since the original version was too dirty to just edit.
