I've seen them a million times since the 90s. All of the shows had ups and downs but all had at least one amazing part that would make it all worthwhile.

I saw them in 1990 at the Apollo in Harlem NYC where they were going off (probably with mostly different members then) but I liked the calmed-down sound on this 2015 gig. Better able to digest it.
