Listening to 'Introducin' for the first time in a few years. I really dug this album. I know he put out some odd valentines ep's or something afterward but is he at all active anymore? I know Paten Locke was touring with Edan so I assume that sluggish work ethic rubbed of on him but Willie been super MIA.
Also, is that Sputnik Brown album ever coming out officially? Is High Water Music still even functional?
"Okay operation "get stuff done before another car hits me" is in effect. This week:
Get tailor made beat to PATEN LOCKE Get tailor made beat to Mal Jones/Molecule Get tailor made beat to MidaZ The Beast before they conspire for my demise.
FINISH editing visuals for The VS Project with Mega Ran (before I get stabbed in the streets)
Instrumentals from previous projects for download in an upcoming thing."

I was referring to the album 'Three Shades of Black'. If memory serves, that dude who used to post here from Highwater was chastising a poster here for leaking the link (which I of course used) because the label planned to release the CD.
I only care because I'm a DJ Spinna superfan/completionist. Pause.

It's mentioned in one of the other replies, but he was apparently involved in a car accident a while back, so that understandably sidelined him. He's got a few projects and deck, plus I believe he does the music for the "Errthing Show" podcast by Al Letson.

Dope. I'm very happy to hear you dug it and still bump it.
>I know he put out some odd >valentines ep's or something afterward but is he at all active >anymore?
Yeah that was a beat tape we released on cassette. I thought it was pretty brilliant the way he told the story with the music.
>I know Paten Locke was touring with Edan so I assume >that sluggish work ethic rubbed of on him
I wouldn't call it a sluggish work ethic. They're artists, when you create art you're sharing a part of yourself with the world and that's not an easy thing to do. All I care about is if the art presented is appealing and enjoyable to me.
>but Willie been >super MIA.
He was in a car accident that sidelined him for quite a bit. We're extremely thankful and grateful that he's ok. The Love Circle was us giving the fans something to chew on 'til Beat Tape From Mars (BTFM) drops. Yes he'll be rhyming on this Beat Tape he found that seems to be from Mars.
