You've got very good retro taste. I'm hit or miss. I was fucking with Faulkner (as you remember, love him), then dipped into Sinclair Lewis, who I couldn't stand

Yeah, I'm getting back into young adult shit, just because I feel like when people nail that genre, they really do some fabulous shit with it....mature enough that you can tackle VERY serious shit (Hunger Games, for ex), light enough that you can experiment with silliness...plus, you're not writing for the New Yorker reviewer, so writers are more comfortable
