I was revisting Batterram to elaborate to my wife that the opening scene of Straight Outta Compton really used to happen, when she astutely noted that it sounded just like 50 Cent's Wanksta.

is this an uncredited sample/interpolation that she keenly spotted, or are we trippin. i'm fine w/ being wrong, so don't snap on my too hard if you think so, LOL. these sound HIGHLY similar. just putting out there for other ears to weight in on.

obviously the Batterram melody runs longer, but it's in there.

just wonder if it was intentional or not.

i couldn't find any credits for Wanksta that included anyone who worked on Batterram, or at least as far as i could tell.
