I've got no info on this album....just making an observation. It feels like whenever Foreign Exchange drops an album, it's in that late summer-early fall time of year. They even have "fall" looking album covers too.

And I know The Minstrel Show, GetBack, and Charity Starts at Home all dropped around the same time of year too.

I don't know if the release dates are intentional, but I know that FE/LB/Phonte's music has gotten especially heavy play from me in August/Sept/Oct. for a decade now and I'm looking forward to that continuing with this new album.

Those are my favorites currently.

I like Milk & Honey. Great hearing Shana Tucker.
Like Work It To The Top and the homage to Steve Arrington.

I'd definitely say it's a bright album like Love In Flying Colors.
The gold cover I think really fits with the sound, especially Side A.

I really need some liner notes so I can see what Nicolay and Zo did on this.

But as I do with all of their albums, I need more spins.

I was away for a few days, and had my CD waiting for me when I got home today though I had the download since it was available earlier in the week.

The CD is going in the car, and will undoubtedly stay for awhile.

Too early to compare to the others, but I'm loving this album. Really enjoyable listen. As far as I'm concerned they bring it every time, and are still an automatic cop.
