I heard the demo version of that 2000 album, he had took it back to the dusty SD50's sound but for whatever reason they scrapped at least half of it. I was a fan of that old sound though, so I preferred the demo to what they ended up releasing.

It was way better than his first album "Reeel 2 Reel" even though it was a good album I liked his 2nd album more, never was a fan of Brand Nubian until their 3rd album but overall Puba's "2000" was kind of a smooth album but definitely a great listen from beginning to end.

For myself, "In God We Trust' was one of the best albums to drop in the 1st half of the 90s and a personal all-time favorite.

"Reel to Reel" was just OK to me.

In God We Trust and it isn't close. Puba's album was a huge letdown even though it still had some classic songs.
