And I wanted to. I was really into Joell when he was on his mixtape run.

I loved his Covers the Classics mixtape. Around that time he was spitting like crazy, getting Pun comparisons.

But for some reason I haven't been able to really feel a project he's released since Slaughterhouse started. Which is odd because I'd expect to hear his top material now that he has a better platform.

Honestly, Royce has seemed less focused to me since then too. I mean I liked PRhyme, but the Royce from Bar Exam would've performed better on there.

I'll keep check for all those cats though.

I like Ortiz a lot, but couldn't get into it. I'll check it again at some point, but I'm not in a rush.

And I was kinda left puzzled by that after the first couple listens...but I enjoyed the next two or three listens after that a lot more...

I'm aware that on an online message board that's considered forcing yourself to like something, but sometimes when I have a hard time accepting a project by an artist I like, or if I'm confused and feel like I missed something, I'm compelled to give it another try.

In this case, the experience improved each time.
