>Solid as hell too. One of my favorite rap albums this year.
Yeah, it's somewhere in my top 15 to 20. Really, really good. Always been a huge fan of L'Orange, and it's refreshing to hear Keith reinvigorated again, especially since it seems like he's been in a sort of slump for about a decade. "Green Rays" is indeed that shit. "Two Thousand and Fifty-Three" is one of my favorite tracks of the year.
I guess if I had an "issue" with it, is that it seems like a super-packed EP, and oddly incomplete at times. If you take off the bonus cut, which was released on the "Persona" compilation earlier this year, it clocks in at barely over 30 minutes. Then there are two instrumental interludes and two tracks that Keith doesn't even rap on. And another four tracks with guest MCs where he only has one verse. It seems like L'Orange got as many Keith verses over his beats as he could, and then filled in the rest with Mello Music affiliated artists and other rappers he was cool with/worked with. Still an excellent album, but I felt liked it needed more.
>Not sure why the Ray West album got more love. This is much >better IMO.
I prefer this one too, but the Ray West one felt like an extension of that '98-'02 Keith, which definitely has it's appeal. It's dope in its own right.

I can understand this argument. There were times where I felt it wasn't enough Keith on here but then listening to that Ray West album I felt there was too much Keith if that makes sense.

It's a beautiful album instrumentally but Keith is the least entertaining part of that album. His delivery was too monotone and his personality didn't really shine thru.
None of the songs are really memorable on this project
