>Doom/Ghost Project? Nope. Or at least not a project in which a lot of effort is put into it. Maybe some unreleased or recycled accapellas. This is unfortunate cuz a few years ago I would have killed to hear this.

Q-Tip "The Last Zulu"? If it's gonna be as good as The Renaissance then I can wait. I think it will drop this year, I wouldn't be surprised if it drops w/o warning too...I think Tip would like to skip all the hype.
Doom/Ghost Project? Does DOOM still make albums?!?
Second Phonte Solo??? +FE drops 1 or 2 albums a year. We just got Nicolay so perhaps Phonte is next?!?

Badu? Since she touring all summer who knows
Nas? Def Jam has actually been pumping out albums at a decent clip. Fall or 4th quarter might be his time.
Mos Def/Yasiin Bey? Will Mos ever drop another album if he can't get into the country?!?

Oh No? He drops an album a year if not multiples. Will we get a solo or the LP I want "The Professionals" (with Madlib) is the question. Now that the project with ALC based on GTA is done, give it a couple months and I bet we see something.
Albums I'm looking forward to/hoping for this year.
They're currently doing a live installation performance arts tour with it right now - started in Detroit, then did a residency in Seattle, and will continue on in different cities throughout the year
I saw the Seattle show - DEFINITELY check it if it hits your town

Can't believe the Renaissance came out 7 years ago. I still remember somewhat reluctantly buying the album on my lunch break not expecting much, but it was Q-Tip and he gets my support no matter. And then loving that album! Made it even better because my expectations were kinda low.

We'll probably have to live with 2 great albums and the assortment of guest spots and production work he had.

Another one I don't really want anymore UNLESS it's truly from the time period this was looking like a real possibility OR if DOOM can return to form. Madlib I have no doubt would hold down the beats nicely as before.

I have no idea what this would even sound like. "Ecstatic" dropped 6 years ago and like Q-Tip's "Renaissance" was a pleasant surprise, especially coming off "True Magic" and "New Danger".

Same as Exile, instant purchase anything he does. He had the album with Prince Po last year, a gang of production spots, and the compilation with Alchemist this year.
What kills me is NO full blown project with Madlib. THAT'S what I want. Invite all their frequent collaborators to the party, too!

I'm a little confident about this one coming out tho I realize it may not be soon. I think ?uest came on the boards saying this would be a focus after Black Messiah, but with who and when? Who knows.

I only care about this if she works with new producers, cuz the last album was kind of a snoozefest. After hearing Derrick Hodge's Live Today, I thought he'd be a real good producer for her because he can create that airy, breezy quality that's similar to Sade's 80s material but still sound a lot more progressive and contemporary.
