What are the essentials? Any up-tempo tracks of note?

I gotta admit to loading up 'Do I ever Cross Your Mind' on the youtube machine from time to time. Love that track. I made a post asking about the Me'shell connection on that song and I think it was established that Brian claimed not to have heard her song before. I love 'em both. A 'friend' of mine says he used to occasionally play that song on his ex-girlfiend's message machine after one too many late night drinks.

I think he still had some mainstream hits afterwards, but his music overall was less compelling after that point.

He still got joints, and I'll always give what he puts out a chance. But his best creative period was during those first four albums.
