And I say that as someone who generally doesn't fuck with much post-TFA, so I'm no fan boy at all.

The bizarre part is Quest is basically the missing member of this show. It's like Isaac is doing everything short of just saying "Fuck you, Quest."

the Roots are about two people to me:

Thought
and ?uest Dogg

there are a lot of folks that I'll always associate with the band (Kamal, Hub, Kirk Dogg, Dice, etc)

but those two are the first that come to mind

one of the issues I had with the last album was that there was a severe lack of Thought

no Thought, no Roots. period.
