just found out and it hits me hard since he played on a whole lot of tracks i dug from MJ,Quincy and crew and the Brothers Johnson man

One hell of a bassplayer and I enjoy the shit out of his contributions to both the Brothers Johnson (duh!) as well as various Quincy-productions from that era (Off the wall! I heard that!). Also, "Stomp" is one of my favorite songs of all time regardless of genre, props and R.I.P.!!!

Just reading about this. Didn't know he played on Michael Mcdonald's 'I keep Forgetting'. So many tracks. A legend of funk, disco and jazz.
