I think it's dope. I've had it on constant rotation since it dropped.
His rhythm really amazes me. I don't quite "get" how he formulates his beats - in another persons hands, it would sound sloppy and all over the place but Knxwledge seems to have an ability to create his own metres and the beats have this underlying funk to them.
I personally like all of the signature "yeahs" and shit that are all over this. I think it adds to the cohesiveness of the album as a whole.

i agree...they have a video up at stones throw where he's going thru some beats live in a warehouse or some shit...and at some point the samples from meth & red's how high comes in... and the drums are dancing around where they "should" be hitting but the shit sounds dope... kinda amazing actually. he's rooted in the past but has really carved his own sound.

...just wanna say that his sloppiness is so singular that i've turned on beats from brothers and know automatically who they are obsessed with as soon as the drums hit.
the single they put out sounded like his bandcamp style but with more polish, and i appreciate that.

a lot o times the rhythm of the sample is in a tempo and he just puts a new tempo and rhythm on top and he doesn't care there are random hihats and snares in the background on some raw shit. i have to say that does not always work out but i like a lot of his stuff.

I was getting worried about him a little as I don't like a lot of his remixes (especially the more recent one's) and it just felt like he was trending downwards, but this album is one of his best releases.
__ I don't like the beat anymore because its just a loop. ALC didn't FLIP IT ENOUGH!
Flip it enough? Flip these. Flip off. Go flip some f*cking burgers.(c)Kno

i like it. just wish some of the tracks were full on instrumentals the whole donuts snippet format is kind of annoying to me but i guess it's good for an artist is the worst thing you can say is you wish the project was longer
