I'd like to hear a longer mix of this. It definitely builds up as you listen to it. It's slow and steady and I think the sample work that you did work fantastic in building the vibe up. Definitely should be a song. Maybe not M.O.P., just one notch down from that like Ras Kass, Sean Price, somebody grimy... I'm blanking.

Drums dope. Mad space, especially in the melody. Builds nicely.

I like the heavy hi pass, combined with the ultra lo filters – sometimes leavin out the middle works wonders! Drums has a nice groove and sound to em, without takin over, dig that!!!

1st and foremost, welcome to the CHOPS15 – nice lil piece you brought here...

Durin the intro, I was thinkin this might be a bit too soulful to really have that energy I was talkin bout, but the chords you brought for the chorus changed that – triumphant but still melodic soulful brass chops rite there!

I think it works dope how you only got the lead playin at 1/2 or 1/4 of every 1 bar loop, fillin the rest out with the lil piano and the bass hits!!!

I think the bassguitar could benefit from a pitch change every now and then, say when you bring the chord changes in the lead in for the chorus, you should have the followin fill follow that given bassnote to extend the chords and climax...

Drums got that nyce dust, and the flow of the breakish rhythm is a nice contrast to the short chops...

Sidenote: that filter youve got at the end dope, you could implement that in the main piece as well...

All in all, SOLID work man, solid!!!
