"The Foundation's $1,000 album and rappersiknow..."

So, let me cut to the chase:

I want to buy The Foundation's first album, The Foundation (2005), but the only place where I can find a legit download, rappersiknow.bandcamp.com is charging $1,000.00 USD.

No.

Any ideas on where I can find it or why it cost so much? I am aware iTunes has the sophomore effort affiliated with Rawkus but I already got that.

I suppose it's better to be able to listen to it than have nothing at all but it's frustrating that it's for sale for that amount.

And doesn't Bandcamp have a listen-only mode that disables the download option? Like, what's the point of having it up for sale for that amount? Just put it in listen mode, B.

Yeah, I can see that being one reason why the price is like that.

I know about ripping songs but I really wanted the album with better sound quality and to support the artists. I only know how to rip streams in a way that gets me joints at 128 kbps! Boo!

I got it from their website back then; you could download the whole album for free one song at a time, but they had a song with Phonte that you had to pay for the album to get.
Not sure if I still do but I'll look this weekend.

Thanks for checking.

It's interesting that the Little Brother track on Bandcamp isn't even available for listening, though I could have sworn it was when I streamed songs from the album last year.

This is what it says:

"Nope.

This happened, but nope."

http://thefoundationmusic.bandcamp.com/track/already-featuring-little-brother

I'm interested in knowing what happened. A lot of people would be interested in hearing the album because it features earlier work from Robert Glasper.
