"Pond - Man It Feels Like Space Again (Tame Impala Offshoot)"
I'm posting this because this is the type of music that I would blame the Lesson for not hearing about.
Pond, a group that currently has three members from Tame Impala in it, came out with this album last month. It's different from Tame Impala in many ways yet still brings the melodies and originality that made Lonerism one of my favorite albums of the decade.
If you're a fan of Tame Impala, definitely check this one out. By the way, they have a lot of offshoots and a deep catalog that's worth exploring.
see I don't even know much about them, just figured that since Lonerism was so popular here people would want to check this out too.
Maybe the Lesson needs a psych rock post similar to the electronic one.
I've been getting into the genre recently and would love to hear more music in the same lane as Tame Impala, Foxygen (didn't like ...And Star Power though), Temples, etc. Any suggestions?

I liked what I heard from Melody's Echo Chamber, TOY, Unknown Mortal Orchestra, Pinkunoizu and The Horrors. I wasn't really feeling the others so much. I think I prefer more of a pop & psychedelic sound than a jammy, psychedelic sound.

Songs are good, but I rather dislike the way it sounds. Which is a bummer because the Tame Impala albums are very sonically pleasant, like a warm bath. This sounds very self-recorded in an unpleasant way. Each individual instrument in that first song especially sounds so cheap.
