it's an all-time great performance. Moment of Truth plays like it's not only talking to everybody else that doubted him, but to himself as well. He uses very precise wordings in his verses, and because of that he doesn't waste sentiment. It's really easy to feel and understand what he's saying, and how it makes him feel not just to experience it, but to be able to say it in a verse. Without having to scream, or cry, or threaten everybody, his internal struggle with his own insecurities (as well as with things like alcohol) plays out in a way that hasn't really been seen since. There's people that are more lyrical, tell better stories, or flow better, but nobody emotes on a record without being emotional like Guru. I can't think of another time I've heard an emcee be so confident while displaying vulnerability-not bragging, or being macho, but displaying true confidence. __________________________________________ CHOP-THESE-BITCHES!!!! ------------------------------------ Garhart Ivanhoe Poppwell Un-OK'd moderator for The Lesson and Make The Music (yes, I do's work up in here, and in your asscrease if you run foul of this
