They were one of my favorite groups as a kid, they were also the first concert I ever went to when I was five. Most people only know them for "Your Mama Don't Dance" but there are some funky moments in their songs. Of course, Kenny Loggins became much bigger when teh group split up but for me, Loggins & Messina cannot and will never be beat. Anyway, here are some, and I'll begin with a Top 5 of the songs I'd like to hear:
Pathway To Glory http://youtu.be/Qwy1I_B6t-Y For this one, you should begin at 4:33, for while I grow up knowing this song as the one to ride a boat on (see FULL SAIL cover), this is also a mandatory song for steppers in Chicago. They love when the song gets funky and locked in that groove, so 4:33 would be the best place to start where the groove begins.
