Technically the anniversary was yesterday, but the album was so great, I'll celebrate it a day late.

I think him endlessly posting about this album made me give this a chance. I didn't like Apollo Kids at the time and didn't want to give this album the time of day. So glad I picked this up. Love how completely off the fucking wall the lyrics are. The superb production is the icing on the cake.

Was an XXL type article ever done for a track by track breakdown going into the making the album?

Opio's "Vulture's Wisdom Vol. 1". If you haven't heard this yet, you're going to be SO happy. The unsung classic hip-hop album of the 'aughts'.

Not sure is an Opio release rates as the best of the 2K period, but that album is better than Vulture's Wisdom.
