>>and that's not offensive either, but the truth, and you are >>the entitled one here, not me. You have decided to be the >>arbiter of who is worthy to criticize music, not me. And yours is meaningless based on your general lack of insight, so we're good.
>>Only a small-minded person tries to use hometown pride as >some >>sort of buffer to criticism. > >it's not a buffer to criticism. you can't call a movement that >took my neighborhood global "clowns for dummies" and not >expect me to speak up.
I did though. You mad?
>>And frankly not that it should matter and it's pathetic for >>you to even bring any sort of understanding of street into a >>conversation about music, but I would be truly surprised if >>you have really been touched by 'street authentic' elements >to >>the same degree that I have in my life. > >some of your best friends are black, I get it.
Nope - jail, federal drug charges, losing one's life to the streets - all of this occurred in my immediate family. What do you know about that? You ever see the inside of a jail?
>Just because you sat >>around in your parents' house, not realizing your dreams and >>being a general disappointment, in the same hometown as this >>corny crew does not make your opinion any more relevant than >>someone elses. You're embarrassing yourself, so engage with >>someone who won't eviscerate you like I just did. > >big words and insults, end of the day you're a self-entitled >white boy. me saying it has to sting more than any of your >childish attempts at insulting me > >this can end now, thanks
This is pure comedy. You're the child here, just a bystander stan who, like a child, lashes out unreasonably when someone criticizes his favorite group. Only a child starts talking about street authenticity, race, and hometown pride in response to criticism. The sad thing is that you think this way in earnest. I hope you feel better now that you've thrown your tantrum.
