On top of this being on of my favorite drum performances of yours (nudge nudge), the song is by Nikka Costa, the sample source later in the song (Percy Faith's "My Shawl") was arranged by her father Don Costa, and thus it's a Costa's thing for Bob Costas, the main reason why I chose it.

For the Hollywood show you can’t go wrong with TV theme songs.
There’s a few ways to go:
1)Play current theme songs (regardless of the composers/writer) <-Boring, but if you have at least 1 TV person a night it could work. 2)Play past theme songs (regardless of the composers/writer) <- Much easier 3)Play songs from one writer or producer. (Norman Lear would be my choice for this direction.) or
4)Play recognizable theme songs by a single composer.
Going for #4 there’s a undisputed king and his name is Mike Post.
I think he did all the Larry King themes too, but i can't find any links. I think my favorites are: The Rockford Files, The White Shadow, Hill Street Blues, Magnus PI, The A-team
P.S How do we get tickets to see the show in L.A?? I'd totally take a day off work and drive up if I could get a seat.
