Strictly personal experience, but dead prez three times, including a time when they didn't call to give a reason and another that was a benefit for Erykah's kids school. The host Local Radio Personality(c) said dead prez wouldn't be there because he was sick.

No-show for his the Dayton date of his "last" tour. (for Gettin' It)

Horribly organized show, hardly any crowd there (I think it was at the Nutter Center-too big a venue), did get to see Snoop show up in a bandana jumpsuit though and after saying I still don't think they know my name performed "What's my name" again. No band, just replay that tape and rap over it twice in a row.
