Former Rage Against the Machine frontman Zack de la Rocha made a memorable appearance on Run the Jewels' Run the Jewels 2. Now, El-P has revealed that he and de la Rocha are working together again. According to NME, El-P said the following at an in-store event at Rough Trade East in London on Tuesday:
In 1999 I spent a month in my apartment in Brooklyn with Zack de la Rocha just before he split Rage Against The Machine, working on music that will never see the light of day. I can't speak about his future but I will say that I'm going to LA to spend another month with him in January. When Killer Mike was pressed on future RTJ plans, he said, "Run The Jewels 3. We start work in January."

I have to wonder how in the world El-P finds time to make new beats. They've been touring for a while now and to go back to work in January is damn amazing to me. I guess it speaks to the friendship the two of them have. And to find out El's going to work with Zach De La Rocha is even better news.
