Meth killed it. Can't wait to see him do that opening verse live...
warning in advance: If you hate on that classic Harold Melvin sample, you have no soul (LMAO).
I wonder what is said on the line that is reversed at the end of Raekwon's verse? Why would he mar this song by cursing (if that's what he did), this is something the BABIES need to hear. He bodied his verse otherwise, though.
(and I use "babies" in the classic Wu sense, e.g. little kids)

I have some gripes with the site, too, but you seriously go out of your way to talk about how NOBODY here is a decent music listener while never acknowledging those who actually don't fall into your "typical Lessonhead" category. You can never say you like something without talking more about the people who DON'T or won't like it. As a matter of fact, you do that instead of saying you like it.

...I mean, maybe Rae had a point.
I believe in the Rza's vision, but the execution is off.
Rza's at a stage now musically that is so different from his earlier production days. The beats seem too clean, no grimey shit. I think the Wu is spitting, but beat wise it's hard to think the Wu is really back. I know Rae said they want stuff that sonically sounds better, but there has to be a happy medium.
I don't think the Rza has lost it, I just think he needs help. The beats he worked on with kanye for MBDTF and the watch the throne were more in line with what I want to hear.

I think it was tied to his last line "...taught us all to think backwards". Wonder what the reversed line said though, it sounded like RZA.

The production is great but it seems like it is too smooth to be a Wu album. Some grit was needed. This may expand their fan base but their hardcore fans will be horrified by this. I am keeping an open mind.
