Faith Evans recently released her Incomparable album, but the singer, and former wife of the Notorious B.I.G. has something big planned that will involve the late rapper’s music: A joint album.
She even has a title for the project already.
Yes, you read that right. During an interview with HipHollywood, Faith explained that she’s about to get the ball rolling on this joint album, since it’s something she’s had on her mind for a long time.
“I’m about to start working on a very special musical project with me and Big,” she said. “It’s something I’ve been thinking about doing for many years, so I’ve finally got all my ducks in a row to try and make it happen.”
She plans to call the album The King and I and says it’s inspired by Natalie Cole’s cover album Unforgettable… with Love. “It’s definitely unheard music,” she confirmed. “Unheard music in the presentation of it — that’s what I will say.”
But since she’s in the very early stages of crafting the project, she says that fans will hear it “probably in the next year or so.”
