he's one of the few legends who's been still working the majority of my adulthood I don't think I've seen.

Diid Frampton bring him back out or anything? That would be funny.

I had a 3 hour drive home to do and I really couldn't stomach the frampton for long.... I hope he brought him out cause he'd be a fool not to but I'd hate to think I missed more Buddy... I'm kicking myself for not tryin to meet him.. he was chillin up front for a few before and after and there was really only a couple folks up there with that idea.

a lot of folks were there for frampton but I was encouraged by the one teenager in the crowd I heard saying he was only there for Buddy..

Yeah I don't remember exactly what it was but I decided I was tired of missing the chance to see folks before it was too late ya know... gonna probably check out James Cotton, Charlie Musselwhite and John Hammond in the spring

and 2 months later he was dead. I tried to learn my lesson but I don't get out to see diddley squat these days.

Seen James Cotton at least once - the one I remember actually had John Hammond opening. Cotton's set was a bit rote but he's a great player and showman. Saw John Hammond several other times in the early '90s as well, always engaging and one of the few guys who can play mean guitar and mean cross-harp at the same time.

I don't think I've seen CHarlie Musselwhite but he's never been a favorite.

I did get to see John Lee Hooker, Albert Collins, Johny Clyde Copeland, Albert King, Dave Van Ronk, John Mayall (alright he's not dead nor THAT old), Johnny Winter (didn't love him, really).

*sigh* I do miss going to shows & festivals quite a bit.
