yea I mean...

Dr Luke's sound (especially when Benny Blanco) was around was 90% Juno..

but in general both help add much needed body when either doing non-sampled stuff or stacking sample based production

Sequential Multi-Trak - 6 note polyphony, simple on-board sequencer, each voice could be sent to it's own individual output or sent to the stereo out, programming was a breeze. When I had it, my computer went down for a while so I would compose entire techno tracks with just the Multi-Trak running through some effects. I could make some utterly gut wrenching chunky basses with this thing that 90's Erick Sermon would be proud of. I got it from a local rapper that needed a microphone more than he needed/wanted that board. I traded my mic for it and never looked back.

Roland JX-3P w/PG200 programmer - I lucked up when I found it at the used instruments store. Normally you don't find the JX3P AND the PG200 at the same time. I copped 'em both for $200. Good for leads and chord sounds but you can coax some strings, pads and bass from it too.

Sequential Prophet 10 - Dual board monster, heavy as shit and it took me and the cabbie both to get it into my crib when I bought it. Only had it briefly before selling it for a profit (store I got it from had a LOT of people that wanted it, I just came with the loot first). It's two Prophet V's in one chassis which means it had all that juicy ass analog sound x2.

Not sure if it counts, but I also had a Korg Poly 800 and Poly 800mkII. They're not analog in the classic sense, but close enough. Both were good boards, I'd buy them both again if I had a chance.

I sold the Multitrak for $200 back in 2003. I just looked 'em up on ebay about two weeks ago and the cheapest one was going for just over $700.

16. "Oberheim - OB-Xa, OB-8"
In response to Reply # 0

a staple of the Minneapolis Sound (Prince, Jam & Lewis), the System (Mic Murphy and David Frank) used the whole Oberheim set up (including the DMX drum machine and DSX sequencer). Van Halen famously used the OB-8 in "Jump" (some modern keyboards make a version of their patch)

I definitely think Prince got the most out of it: the OB brass is often emulated in off-the-rack machines, and their pads are damn near the GOAT

here's a demo of the OB-Xa

Dr. Fink speaks about them here:

I love those pad sounds from the OB-8, if I ever become filthy rich I think I'm gonna go on the auction circuit to find one. Until then I'll practice on the OP-X VSTs.
