I cannot believe that some of you have recently mentioned you like ambushed better than gravity. I'm shocked and appalled

Gravity is flashship golden 96 for me. Introduction of/by Mos Def, guest features include common, de la, rahzel, etc.

Dope beats, conscience rhymes.... sprinkled with jamaican reggea. Ambushed has it's place..... as the album before Gravity.

Outside of We Run Things and Remember We Remix, you can keep that album. Gravity is good but kinda overrated here. Never dug them dudes as rappers and the reggae dude was annoying.

Loved Gravity when it came out and played it a lot. They had a dope single (with Mos) and a good video. I agree this is definitely a classic 96 release. That "forever... for—EVAR!" outro was kind of funny to me though, didn't they break up like months later. Did they get dropped?

Afterwards I bought a used copy of Ambushed and only played it once or twice.
