Did Anonymous Force Atlantic Records to Give Lupe Fiasco's "Tetsuo And Youth" a Release Date?

Internet hacker group Anonymous have gained a large amount of fear and respect for shutting down some of the world's biggest companies with their own form of online activism. Tonight, they have claimed that they were behind the surprise announcement of the release date for Lupe Fiasco's long delayed album Tetsuo And Youth. Lupe's record label sent out this tweet earlier tonight announcing the date for the album from out of nowhere:

Shortly after the tweet, Anonymous went to Twitter and proclaimed victory over Atlantic Records, posting this message:

Citizens of the World and lovers of conscious music,
We are Anonymous.

24 hours ago we released a short Twitter ultimatum. We called upon record label Atlantic Records, responsible for releasing conscious rap artist Lupe Fiasco's long awaited Album. We demanded a statement from the label within 24 hours to release a date or we would unleash the complete and utter fury of our collective on their company and executives. 21 hours later they released a short Tweet citing the album and it's release date.

At this time it can be concluded that we have proved our point. We wish music that is educating the masses to keep being released. We will fight for that. Lupe Fiasco, Talib Kweli, Mos Def, Common and others are the moving force behind conscious rap. This is music we will fight for.

Operation Atlantic, Operation Free Lupe; disengaged.
Mission Accomplished.

We are Anonymous.
Never cease to expect us.

It's surprising and admirable that Anonymous would find this issue so important, especially in light of the similar issues Lupe had when he protested the release of his album Lasers in 2011. The group has also mentioned that Trey Songz, another Atlantic Records artist, is supporting them as well. Atlantic hasn't released a statement confirming or denying the claim from Anonymous, but Lupe did respond to them with this short and sweet tweet which references the group:

Yeah. He was about to release a mixtape called Lost in the Atlantic Ocean. Sorta feels like De La and Tommy Boy.

Earlier this summer Lu said during a radio interview that Alantic puts people ahead of him because he didn't take a 360 deal before The Cool dropped.

Even when was dropping singles he said he turned the album in and had no idea when it was dropping.
