In short, it's a pop album with some interesting piano compositions. To me, I get some major David Bowie vibes. I'd be interested to hear some other thoughts overall though. The latter half of the album reminds me a bit of some Trip-Hop a la Portishead.
My interest in this album stems from a very strong flow of the Beach Boys and Bowie in general, so that's how I'm coming into it.
These are the main songs he has out from this album. He reminds me a bit of Blood Orange too, a bit. At least, his vibe is very glam/new-wave to me. "I'm a Mother" is one of my favorite tracks from the fellow though- very interesting stuff.
As a Portishead fan, I check out anything they're involved in and I can here his work all over this album. "I'm a Mother" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FDAXIUqHyC4 is my favorite track first listen through.
