I think he nails the "current club music" theme on the tracks that have that vibe a LOT better than he did on Book of David

but there's also no songs like "Fire & Brimstone" which was my favorite song off that album

"Bacon's Groove" = FLAMES

there's at least one hilarious line as per required for a Quik album

Just feels weird, like wayyy below his standards.

And tbh, he's kinda like eminem for me at this point, in the sense that you're listening to a seasoned virtuoso genius make songs about obnoxiously adolescent shit over and over again.

But this album barely sounds like it was even made by that virtuoso.
