"Quincy Jones Arranger/Producer "

Quincy Jones is known for producing Thriller,Bad and We Are The World but there is so much more to him He knows how to arrange a song and make it his own

He even surprised me how he rearranged this Lovin Spoonful track I didnt even recognize the song at first He made it sultry and sensuous

With Q producing Brothers Johnson redid Strawberry Letter 23 originally by Shugie Otis and elevated an already good song Again arrangement/editing counts The original does not sound organized

Q, on his Back On The Block cd remade a song he originally produced and made it even better due to Ray Charles and Chaka Khan on vocals and he made the tempo faster as well as adding state of the art synths

Q outdid himself with the Jon Anderson & Vangelis track State Of Independence for Donna Summer The original sounded like a demo and not focused Q fixed that

One of Q's rare failures is his cover of Stevie Wonder's You've Got It Bad Girl Part of the problem was his lifeless singing
