Come on man. This is the second episode in a row some unfathommable dumb shit was dropped before the 5 minute mark.

And I don't expect y'all to have the verses memorized but damn.

And then this dude didn't even know about Déjà Vu.

Smh

I love y'all for doing these shows but...tighten it up! Lol

Edit: unsolicited feedback of course...it's all love

Just finished watching...there was some more questionable shit but not that bad.

Actually, when you dropped Push Up Ya Lighter and cats were like "I ain't never really heard a Roots album before" I almost cut the shit off.

Seems like Beezo has to have his MCs be certified before he feels comfortable saying he likes them. Just the way it comes off.

I'll be back with my top 5 favorite.

Beezo is the DIE HARD Mobb Deep/Wu Tang type dude. If he's not a fan...he's REALLY not a fan. So me knowing dude for 20+ years, I'm not shocked that he's never heard a Roots or Outkast album...that's just not his lane. Now ask him about some Wu affiliate or some off brand Mobb Deep Queensbridge cats and he knows it like the back of his hand. Same with me to some extent cause there are a lot of holes in my hip hop game...now mine are more so down south, midwest and cali hip hop but they're still holes nonetheless but keep rocking with us fam lol!

Fam, I hit Kil up on twitter about that one. When dude said he never heard illadelph Halflife I was like WTF!!! LOL The ep was good though. It's kind of like watching OKP cats discuss hip hop.

From Aquemini:

My mind warps and bends, floats the wind, count to ten
Meet the twin Andre Ben, welcome to the lion's den
Original skin many men comprehend
I extend myself so you go out and tell a friend
Sin all depends on what you believing in
Faith is what you make it, that's the hardest shit since MC Ren
Alien can blend right on in with your kin
Look again, cause I swear I spot one every now and then
It's happening again, wish I could tell you when
Andre, this is Andre, y'all are just gon' have to make amends

From Rosa Parks:

I met a gypsy and she hipped me to some life game
To stimulate then activate the left and right brain
Said baby boy you only funky as your last cut
You focus on the past your ass'll be a has what
That's one to live by or either that's one to die to
I try to just throw it at you determine your own adventure
Andre, got to her station here's my destination
She got off the bus, the conversation lingered in my head for hours
Took a shower kinda sour cause my favorite group ain't comin with it
But I'm witchya cause you probably goin' through it anyway
But anyhow when in doubt went on out and bought it
Cause I thought it would be jammin' but examine all the flawsky-wawsky
Awfully sad and it's costly, but that's all she wrote
And I hope I never have to float in that boat
Up shit's creek "it's weak" is the last quote
That I want to hear when I'm goin' down when all's said and done
And we got a new joe in town
When the record player get to skippin and slowin down
All y'all can say is them niggas earned that crown but until then

From Skew It on the Bar-B:

The common denominator, the nigga numerator
Never know who the hater, niggas cater to your ego
I'm sorry like Atari whose the cousin to Coleco.. Vision
Caught a Rico, back on the street like Chico.. DeBarge
He large and got a 'Llac in the garage
Few parts here and there, I declare hard, my lawd
One at Clark, one at Spelman
Both know each other and it's cool, you can tell when
He step off in the party women jump for joy
But all the wild niggas schemin' they gon' jump the boy
For spittin' all that bourgeoise, my watch, my car
I'm a star -- I'd rather be a comet by far -- rrrahhh!

Love ain't for the faint of heart
Start training, this game is hard
And arduous, you're gonna play in the dark, like when it rains in the park
You're hardly conscious of the stains and scars, enabling your partly clouded logic
To pay to impart bliss with arrangements of chocolates
Now, you're working yourself out the same as when you strain' with a nautilus
And you're willing to embrace pain facing sustained negative consequence
If nothing you say when in love is embedded with common sense
Then, do you really regret when you've shredded your promises?
Now, I've tested the waters, kid. Sipped it; rippled the pond a bit
Visits have been abolished, and this shit's killing my confidence
Is this filling your conscience when distance is an accomplishment?
If you miss chicks when they're around, the phrase "Let's quit" isn't an option
You best fix whatever's wrong and just move on and get on with it
Cause, You'll catch bigger fish in the sea if you manage not to drown in it
It's sad, but proud or not, most your standards go down a notch
When loneliness drinks at the bar you set too high
Cause, It isn't really my time, is it? Shit, I just found the watch
But hearing the bell toll for me twice a day, has me fearing my grandfather clock
And I can't die without trying, my hands tied in knots
Knowing that I'll never learn to brave the waves if I stand by the docks
Love is hampered by thought, if you can handle the prospect of
Death - it's as massive a shock
And to intellects, it's a fuckin' smack in the crotch
It's a cancer that rots your soul, tosses demons off of the road
Just use caution and know, that, love ain't nothing but a loss of control
Off then, we go

Yo...on The Amen, Corner I stood lookin at my former hood
Felt the spirit in the wind, knew my friend was gone for good
Threw dirt on the casket, the hurt, I couldn't mask it
Mixin down emotions, struggle I hadn't mastered
I choreograph seven steps to heaven
In hell, waiting to exhale and make the bread leaven
Veteran of a cold war It's Chica-I-go for
What I know or, what's known
So some days I take the bus home, just to touch home
From the crib I spend months gone
Sat by the window with a clutched dome listenin to shorties cuss long
Young girls with weak minds, but they butt strong
Tried to call, or at least beep the Lord, but didn't have a touch-tone
It's a dog-eat-dog world, you gotta mush on
Some of this land I must own
Outta the city, they want us gone
Tearin down the 'jects creatin plush homes
My circumstance is between Cabrini and Love Jones
Surrounded by hate, yet I love home
Ask my guy how he thought travellin the world sound
Found it hard to imagine he hadn't been past downtown
It's deep, I heard the city breathe in its sleep
Of reality I touch, but for me it's hard to keep
Deep, I heard my man breathe in his sleep
Of reality I touch, but for me it's hard to keep

Ugh, I can't feel a field nigga pain
Devious skill that make a strong willed nigga wane
Since a lil nigga hang with the killers and distributers of 'caine
They dismemberers of swishers then refill it with the jane
Then they tilt it and they lit with a flame then they took a pull of killer
To tha brain like (inhale noise) ah
Evil minded like Crane they became
They deranged like the rover that I rode
That was the Range that I drove when I was a little bit older mayne
Declaring war on the deck like they the joker all wild
Duckin from bruce wayne
While they polka with the devil in a moonlitten ghetto
Hello My Name stickers on the stickers of the veins
In rehab remembering the feelings when they used to get mellow
When they was all back of a nickel like Monticello
When the underworld had to be smarter than donatello
No honor amongst fellows
It's harder than sittin with a blind man and tryin to describe yellow
Got me feelin like killer joe
My life the album
Know the classics by heart and exactly how the filler go
Repeat it on my way to the liquor store, Charlie
