hate to say it but this lowers my expectations for the project

homie gotta stop leaning on these corny synths to prove he's not just a boom-bap producer, we get it...you're "evolving" but this is just overdone & cluttered to my ears

like i tried to run it again & the shit is so cheese i just couldn't do it

i do recall that he lets the chops breathe at the end of the track rather than being smothered by add-ons

and they sounded creative & dope

hopefully he let the chops & loops breathe a little more on some other songs on the album

Haven't checked any recent interviews so don't know where his head is at musically....but couldn't sample clearance costs be a factor?

Either way...i think it's dope...it does have boom bap elements in it..synths just add another layer of melody to me....don't sound too cluttered to me either..
I'm looking forward to hearing more
