why does it seem like we give this kid uncritical praise? SC2 was solid but showed he still has to develop as a songwriter and is still learning which production suits him best.
my favorite project so far from him is Stolen Youth. most cohesive, most mature.

The songwriting on SC 2 is TOP NOTCH. I don't really know anybody painting more vivid pictures of the same scenes as this kid... and with his insight and perceptions? Dude is really on another than even than other cats 10 yrs older than him.

All my comments come from wanting to see vince transcend as an artist. Heard most of that on SY but not as much since. Will definitely be listening to Hell Can Wait.

He's already starting mailing it in lyrically....he's good enough that its still better than almost everyone else, but I hope this doesn't turn into a habit

Stolen Youth still has him collabing with hella other rappers on a ten song set over a lot of mediocre beats. He was spitting, but don't try and act like he was crafting great songs
His most vivid clear lyrics thus far is "Earth Science" by a mile. It's on SC2, which also has "Nate" and "Trunk Rattle"
If you were bothered by the mix of SC2, I can agree.
