so over the years it seems that the Roots have a love/hate relationship with the house Russel and Rick built. do you think that its a marketing tool?(roots being the "underdog")

Does anyone know how many albums they have left on the "Def Jam Payment Plan" ? I remember BT saying once they had one left, I think this was after the dissatisfaction with the promotion of Game Theory.

But for some reason def jam seemed to do the same stuff. Jay gave them the go ahead to make the albums they wanted to make without regard to singles. Game theory was kinda tossed into the market like "oh yeah there's this". Rich complained about the promotion and he took some shots at jay too.
