Cappa is/was an "unofficial" (whatever that means) member but CLEARLY had his own lane & style, and I'll even say he was more interesting AND better than Masta Killa & U-God.
Especially after proving he was quite formidable on Cuban Linx, Ironman, and certain cuts (Garment Rennaisance, Winter Warz, etc), you would think RZA would go all out and officially "chain" him like Dash did Kanye but nope .lol
But my feelings were RZA wasn't fully behind him like he was the others. Why?
And it always irked me how he was noticeably omitted from album covers, group photos, yet he'll be all over an album and he repped Wu hardcore.
Besides, 10 emcees round out a clique more so than nine imo..Would've loved to hear him on 36 Chambers as well

he was just happy hanging around. RZA pressured him to spit something on Ice Cream. He grew up with a few of the members, and apparently there was a point in time when he went by "Original" & he was regarded as one of the nicest on the island. He even helped teach a few members of the Wu how to rhyme. I remember rumors that he didn't get along with Dirty, but overall Wu pushed him to get back into the rapping thing.
If you have been keeping up with him throughout the years, you'd notice that he's a very erratic dude. He blocked his own success more than anyone else I can think of. A lot of people I knew didn't like how he changed his rap style between his 1st few guest appearances & his solo album. I grew to love that Pillage style, but then he got even weirder after that and I couldn't do it. He still has a great stage presence though, he's a nice complement to a live Ghostface show.

I can deal with Cap doing features here and there. He's good for a verse or two, but honestly without his personality anyone else spitting some of those verses would get BOOOED! (Buck 50 I'm looking at you).

Baltimore, Northeast Market,2002. Hacks are like illegal cabs run by fiends, old retired guys, and people down on their luck. Anyone can do it, but it's dangerous. He was driving a gold Landcruiser and I didn't believe it was him until I read an article months later. I would see him around BMore all the time - one of his BMs lives there.
