no one has been this great for this long. no one. people have def had greater highs than Thought, arguably longer stretches of greatness, but no one for this long.
he always seems to put his best foot forward. And yes his reduced role on Roots albums has helped in this regard

This dude is on another level and The Roots would be wise to capitalize on his MC wizardry next time out.
They need to find that balance. They did their concept and heavy feature albums...cool.

Game Theory worked because they reached the best of both worlds.
?uest needs space to operate and push the envelope with the production and Thought needs space to display his talent and reel the production back in so it doesn't go too far.
They have all the talent in the world to make it work.

Action's verse was fun. Royce's verse was super solid, as is typical for him. Thought took this shit to another stratosphere. My lord. I swear my jaw was literally dropping as it went on.
