I still play the mixtapes pretty frequently. I'm not certain that they would have been able to keep the train rolling any further than they did, though
I haven't really kept up with the solo stuff too much. I know Kool AD has been pretty prolific, but I haven't paid much attention. Any recommendations?

Matter of fact, that album leaves a bad taste in my mouth because it was after that being released that they decided to call it quits. You can even hear how bored Kool A.D. sounds in his delivery. He just couldn't be bothered anymore. The production wasn't even as great as their earlier albums. I don't listen to "Relax" anymore, but "Sit Down Man"...... I love. Their unreleased songs are much better: Speaking in Tongues. White Man Get paid off alla Dat. Ring Tone. Berzerker. Pop Champaigne. Art School (funny as hell).
I've seen DR perform a few times, and I also saw Kool A.D. perform for his own solo work. They need each other. Badly. When they're on stage together, theres never a dull moment. Especially, Dapwell. He brings a lotta humor as well. Heems solo material is good, but it feels like something is missing. It just seems like the fun isn't quite there anymore. I miss the Das Racist from 2010. . Not sure if Greedhead will survive (in the long run). Lakutis is kinda annoying. Plus, he doesn't have any strong charisma. Kool A.D's proteges are boring as hell.
Still confused as to why they'd throw away a big contract with Sony. Kool is eatin off of his artwork and tours, but his life has been kinda unstable. I offered him a temporary crash pad (because he was asking around).

Where'd you hear that at? Never heard that one, myself. I know Heems smokes weed. Kool A.D. likes adderall (& also weed, ovcourse). He may have been into oxycontin in the past.
