It's better than everything they have done so far by a mile and the production is superior to just about everything I have haerd this year. This should have been the real album, because as these things go I am afraid the real album may disappoint. I mean, it's difficult to see how they can top this. I hope I am wrong.

since they made it in one week. Perhaps all of their projects should have a time limit.
I'm not worried about the album because of 1 thing: Just Blaze is executive producer. The man barely puts out music, but when he does it's quality. Add the producer list is Illmind,Arrabmusik,Cardiak & Primo, I don't see failure here.

I'm surprised that they are still together. I though that they were just going to have that one collaboration album like most artists do. It's kind of a "for real for real" group.

I said when this dropped that it's EXACTLY what I want from Slaughterhouse. Songs that make sense for them as a group, playing with different match-ups, room to go solo when it makes sense, and strong production. The production has improved a lot, Just Blaze's stamp on the group is solidified. I love this tape man. Makes me excited to hear what the album will sound like

1.) They were making too much of a point to show that they could make "other" types of records. I think they want to prove that they aren't *just* a rappity rap group (or the label just wanted a certain type of song), and that resulted in some songs that just didn't sound natural.
2.) I also think that just about every release on Shady Records ends up with at least a few songs that take Eminem's identity too much. I think that's just part of the Shady system, to be honest.
That being said, I think this mixtape is a great example of how they have an even stronger identity now, and how Just Blaze's fingerprints are showing. I'm excited to hear the album.

That whole neo-boom bap movement has no interest in songwriting. It's all about nerds one-upping each other's punchline. You should really get into battle rap. There are no women involved in it whatsoever.
