Whaddup fellow Okayplayers,
I been on these boards for years and have had many great conversations with many great people on here. I'm not one to do any shameless plugs or spam individuals, but I thought you all should know what I have been up to creatively and musically the last few years. I started making beats in April of 2010, competed in & won various beat battles, and then started working on a producer album off & on since 2011. And as of today, that album is fully recorded, mostly mixed, and should be mastered by mid-Summer.
The album is titled "Carry On Tradition" and features the likes of AZ, Big K.R.I.T., Noreaga, Action Bronson, Freddie Gibbs, Killer Mike, Elzhi, Freeway, Roc Marciano, M.O.P., Joell Ortiz, Chance The Rapper, Kool G Rap, Inspectah Deck, Sean Price, Jon Connor, Havoc of Mobb Deep, Rapsody, Willie The Kid, Oh No, Guilty Simpson, Joe Budden, Fashawn, Cormega, Rapper Big Pooh, Saigon, and many more.
It will be released this Fall via the Closed Sessions label out of Chicago and will be available in different editions via stream, digital, CD, and vinyl. The first single "Raw Wraps" will drop in June. I've worked hard and long on this project...and I hope you all support. But most importantly, I hope you all like what you hear.
Gratitude! A-Villa
