in his mind, timberlake is irrelevant to contemporary audiences and has been for 10 yrs, same way he was trying to convince us that pharrell was done and shouldn't still be receiving placements, while dude had the #1 record in the country.

12. "JT version has better music than the solo album version" In response to Reply # 0
JT is unnecessary but I understand trying to generate interest. It's not terrible by any means but after listening to the demo for the past few years this sounds odd. This is not the type song for the "dance, let me see you move" breakdown. The melody holds it's on without the all the extra.
The John McClain version isn't bad either, but his drums ain't shit. Is it in the estate contract that he has to produce a song on each posthumous release?
Overall though, as far as a posthumous release, it's sounding good. Sounds like they stayed true to MJ's sound (at least for one song). Although I have 6 of the 8 original songs, I'm interested in hearing the "contemporized" versions. I'll be listening to the OG versions first though!
