tekzilla...
i always preferred common coming raw on "tekzilla" compared to the "the sun god". both are good songs but "tekzilla" was my shit when i heard it on a mixtape and when the lp dropped and it wasn't on there, i was thoroughly heated.
"the sun god" was good, but not the common i wanted to hear at that point.

I remember me and lil my bro riding around the lennox mall area and these Asians were in front of the marta station nodding hard as hell to that beat while we were at the red light. That was one of my favorite riding memories.

And I voted Sun God by a couple hairs. Both great. Just prefer the beat for Sun God by a slight margin.
Speaking of Tekzilla, Comm used that same verse for another underrated gem "Life Goes On" which also features AZ and ...Case? And Allure? Love the beat on that one.

The "Tekzilla" 12inch with "1-9-9-9 Remix" was pressed up by Hi-Tek himself (about 500 to 1000 copies were made), when Rawkus & MCA told him they couldn't clear the sample and that the remix of "1-9-9-9" was too old to release, that's why the only pressing was just a white label and not on a Rawkus pressing.
