Hey OKP,
I just wanted to know all of your favorite Hip Hop songs that sample either the Vibraphone, the Rhodes, or both. (and you can list songs/artist in other genres that are your favorite as well).
Lately, I've found myself falling in love with the music that employs either one of these instruments. Their sounds are sooooooo beautiful.
I've been meaning to pick up some Roy Ayers...
I'll start with the first few songs that come to mind: The Pharcyde: "On the DL" - rhodes ATCQ: "Vibes And Stuff" - vibes all Roots songs that have the Rhodes KMD: "Peachfuzz" - vibes D'Angelo: "Africa" (didn't they remove something from the Rhodes to make that sound?) Rob Glasper
