"Rare Philadelphia Unknown Track 1996"

For 16 years I have been searching for a track that I heard on college radio back in 1996-1997. Unfortunately, I do not have an audio sample.

Here is what I know about the track.

1. The production has a classic jazz piano sample -- there is a lot of record popping noise, similar to Munk Wit Da Funk - I Been Here I'm Stayin'.

2. The artist mentions Philadelphia

3. There are at least two verses

4. The chorus has a vocal sample "Let me do my thing" -- I am not sure if this is Fat Joe from the D & D Allstars, but could be.

Please help me find this track. It is stuck in my head, but as I get older, the details become fuzzier.

Much appreciated!

I just wanted to mention that this track is NOT Chief Kamachi - Bring It On. If anyone has any clues, please let me know.
