Ghost said he recorded this as a mixtape and it does sound like one. Some great songs on here though, the first three tracks are heat.

I never even listened to that album. The song is an all timer though.

but I feel like Ghost's been quiet since.

Where's SC2? He's said he's been working on it for years
now. He'll pick it up and put it down like a book,
that he's always listening to beats. When he finds a
beat that fits the sound he's cultivated in his head
he'll then try and make something with said beat for SC2.

I love that idea, love that he's taking his time with it.
But I need some new Ghost with the pre R&B album flow.

The last time his flow still had some quirkiness to it
was More Fish, so really Fishscale, since More Fish was
extra songs from the Fishscale sessions, hence why it
came out so quick after Fishscale.

Ghost is my favorite rapper ever but I gotta admit,
the last song I truly felt where he didn't sound like
he was reading off a sheet of paper in the booth is
the Kanye / Pusha T remix.

And where is GHOSTDOOM? LOL.

it was a perfect little unambitious hardcore NYC album.

hard to believe that was three years ago already.

I also think it's a great beginner's entry point to Ghost if you're talking to younger people or people who just haven't done the research.
