AHHNOLD!

What I'd play if I and your job, and also didn't care about losing your job:
Dead Kennedys - Nazi Punks Fuck Off
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PzHLPnGuVSQ

Dead Kennedys - California Über Alles
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eIqESwzCGg4

Neil Young - Needle and the Damage Done
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k0t0EW6z8a0&feature=kp

He's a real piece of shit. I'd take that musclebound man and stick his face in the sand.

Carson Daly
John Farnham - You're the Voice

Why? He's on The Voice.

The Terminator Main Theme
http://www.slate.com/articles/arts/culturebox/2014/02/the_time_signature_of_the_terminator_score_is_a_mystery_for_the_ages.html

Why? The recent Slate story that tries to figure out what time signature it was in. Just the Pull Quote from it that says "DAH-two-three-DOONK-two-three-CLANK-two-three-GONK-two-GONK-two" is worth the read.

"And the verdict? “It’s in 13/16. Three plus three plus three plus two plus two."

Arnold S:
'Yackety Yack" -
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PtTC3pGBjs4

(due to this scene in Twins: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pJJjycrT0RA)

Carson Daly:
"Johnny's Theme" a.k.a. "Toot Sweet" = Paul Anka
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=keiuXB3dJ0E

(now that y'all are on The Tonight Show, and have a fuller horn section, this is an even better choice for Carson Daly)

Arnold:

Public Enemy "Terminator X To The Edge of Panic"
http://youtu.be/-Fh0V63WO5k

Yeah, he may have done other things but this is what, in my mind and for many others, he will always be immediately recognized for. Plus, it never hurts to slip some Public Enemy into late night television.

Carson Daly:

Outkast "Last Call"
http://youtu.be/BKKE85DULa8

This shit goes. And he's the host of "Last Call".

Arnold Schwarzenegger
Jody Watley's "Looking For A New Love"
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YQL-B3PNkeI
REASON: For the theft of the term "hasta la vista, baby"

Carson Daly
Fugees' "How Many Mic's
REASON: I suggested this for Chelsea Clinton, didn't get it chosen so I'll suggest it here, based on the lyric:
"How many nic's do we rip on the daily?

which can also tie in with THE VOICE and their logo (i.e. a hand holding a microphone).

Jude Law
Anthrax's "I Am The Law"
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p3ta5ahB-6w
REASON: I believe I suggested this for him before, I'll try it again here. The chorus is:
"I AM THE LAW
You won't fuck around no more
I AM THE LAW
I judge the rich, I judge the poor
I AM THE LAW
Commit a crime I'll lock the door
I AM THE LAW
Because in Mega-City
I AM THE LAW"

Of course, change "fuck around" to "mess around".

Shakira
Lee Dorsey's "Yes We Can Can"
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=22mBzHmgIgU
REASON: For her "can cans", and a nice Pointer Sister-ish "gresh gosh a mighty" would be helpful.

Illya Kuryaki & The Valderramas' "Coolo"
https://vimeo.com/36096968
REASON: When I had access to VH-Uno and MTV Espanol, they used to play this group by Argentina a lot. Bootsy played in their LECHE album and they're really funky. The only lyric in the chorus is:

"A mover el culo
A mover el culo
A mover el culo
A mover el culo"

which means "move/shake your ass". I figured it would be a nice and healthy exchange in the language department. Take that in any way you want.

Because of his hilarious story about sitting in on on drums at a jazz jam session and having Sonny Stitt call Cherokee:

Bill Cosby
Fat Albert Orchestra & Chorus' "Cosbyianna"
http://picosong.com/eJvy
REASON: I suggested this before for him, and since you guys have a horn section, I figured I would take a shot with this again. This is from his first and only section he did for his Tetragrammaton label, the A-side was "Fat Albert (Hey Hey Hey)", but different from the cartoon version. You probably know that already, but "Cosbyianna" would be perfect, as it sounds like something that could've been used for a theme show circa late 60's.

OBGYN
Pink Floyd's "One Of My Turns"
http://youtu.be/7sMVXa3Xw68?t=2m34s
REASON: Referring to his forthcoming flying adventure off of Mount Everert. Referring to the lines in the song that goes:
"Would you like to learn to fly? would ya?
Would you like to see me try?

The song (and the album THE WALL) will celebrate its 35th anniversary this November, so... why not celebrate early?

Russell Crowe:
"The Rain" - Oran "Juice" Jones
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9dZW1C3neao

(Cos he's in Noah, and there's a lot of rain.)

(side note: in the music video, Oran "Juice" Jones really only sees the couple together *after* it rains -- the hush-puppy-wearing crumb cake is holding an umbrella, they are wearing rain coats and the streets wet but not water is falling from the sky.)

Joan Rivers:
"Welcome Back" - John Sebastian
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M6o0Cah5kQU

(since this is her first Tonight Show appearance since back in the day)

Russell Crowe - "Sail Those Same Oceans" by 30 Odd Foot Grunts
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lNfomuY2ysg

30 Odd Foot Grunts is Crowe's band. Sine he's playing Noah, this song works as a boat reference and also a nod to his music career.

Joan Rivers - "Moon River" by Audrey Hepburn
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q7SI7N22k_A

Make it big and sweeping and change Moon River to Joan Rivers.

Russell Crowe
Papa San's "Maddy Maddy Cry"
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zt5t91nFsJk
REASON: There's word that in his new film (NOAH), he cries a bit:
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/home/event/article-2585357/Russell-Crowe-Noah-I-stop-crying-How-playing-Noah-turned-Russell-Crowe-sobbing-wreck-target-fatwa.html
so I went to a dancehall song where it's essentially Papa San crying his entire vocals.

Joan Rivers
"Frere Jacques" from RABBIT TEST
http://youtu.be/GgoPpx6h-98?t=1h7m14s
REASON: I requested this for Billy Crystal on LATE NIGHT but since RABBIT TEST is her movie. I'll try it here. RABBIT TEST is a hilarious and at times pathetic movie that she directed, with a number of off-color and racist jokes that makes her an "equal opportunity offended". The scene in question involves Billy Crystal's visit to Africa to meet people in a village, who greet him with a doo-wop version of "Frere Jacques". It's the best part of the movie, and a film like this could never be doing again, since most of its humor would be considered tasteless today. I love the film because it's so wrong, which in many ways describes some of Joan Rivers' best jokes.

SHORT VERSION: Perform "Frere Jacques" in a doo-wop arrangement, similar to how it's used in RABBIT TEST.

Another tact is to play a Gangstarr song:

Gang Starr - Form Of Intellect
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_OGI6gmYsLk

Why? He's on a show called "Intelligence": Gabriel Vaughn (Josh Holloway) is a high-tech intelligence operative enhanced with a super-computer microchip in his brain. With this implant, Gabriel is the first human ever to be connected directly into the globalized information grid. He can get into any of its data centers and access key intel files in the fight to protect the United States from its enemies.

So it's a Form of Intellect.

(I still like silly name change intro, but Gangstarr being played on the Tonight Show is always good.)
